THISTLE boss Ian McCall admits that his team's stunning win against Livingston in the Scottish Cup is the last thing on his mind with the upcoming league games.
The Firhill manager has a tight schedule for his side with two home games coming up, firstly against Queen of the South on Saturday and then a clash against Livingston on Tuesday night.

But he is adamant that the club will focus on the games ahead and not the glamour tie against Hibs or Rangers next month.

He said: "We are delighted to have qualified to the next stage but the Scottish Cup is now very much on the back burner.

"We have to get three points in each of these games at Firhill and I hope the fans will be out in full support."

Despite only gaining a draw at the weekend against Dunfermline, McCall is still pleased with the result.

He said: "To play 120 minutes of football and go into penalties against Livingston and then turn up and draw against Dunfermline at a notoriously difficult place was good enough for me.

"The team played well and we stuck at the game so I am happy with the result."

The Jags' recent plague of injuries is something that has definitely been on McCall's mind when devising the team sheet, and it looks like things are not going to be any better this weekend.

He admits that both John Robertson and Kevin McKinlay will be out although Marc Roberts will be back in the thick of the action.

Alan Archibald was carried off to get stitches in his ankle during Saturday's match with Dunfermline but the Thistle captain will definately line up against Queens.

McCall, however, says that regardless of injuries, the game plan is pretty much the same: "We need to win both of these games."
